The Renter should inspect an asset promptly upon receipt.

Where a condition report, photograph or video inspection is provided, it may form part of the transaction record.

Pre-existing damage should be reported promptly and, where reasonably possible, before the asset is used.

Failure to report reasonably identifiable pre-existing damage may be considered when determining responsibility, but shall not automatically establish liability where the evidence indicates otherwise.
